Maddie Boyer is an environmental lawyer and director at the law firm of
Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., her professional home for 25 years.
Maddie is Chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee and maintains an
active pro bono political asylum and international human rights practice.
Maddie holds a E-RYT-200-hour yoga certification, a VYP MRT teacher
certification, and is a member of the VYP teacher alliance. Both of
Maddie’s grandfathers were naval officers who proudly served in World
War II. She brings to VYP personal experience with the profound and
multigenerational reach of PTSD on veterans and their families and a
deep conviction in the healing benefits of mindfulness and yoga. From
1988-1990, she served in the United States Peace Corps in Guatemala.
She resides in Austin, Texas and has two talented and amazing children,
both in college.
