Tammy Blatt, has extensive entrepreneurial experience of 30 years, in her native state, Pennsylvania.

Her interests lie at the intersection of the mind-body connection and the simple, foundational practices that assist in healing the whole being. Her strength is introducing simple tools such as breath awareness, guided relaxation, mindful movement, and meditation to a diverse demographic. In the past 10 years, she organized and led several workshops and weekend retreats, in which she introduced these foundational practices of health to various populations across age groups, and all yoga experience levels.

She believes these tools add richness to anyone open to trying.

Tammy completed her 200 – Hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Himalayan Institute. She has spent much of the last 10 years in deep study and voluntary service at the Himalayan Institute, Kripalu Center of Yoga and Health,Veterans Yoga project, and several other organizations that share these ideals . She brings on board, formidable training in the areas of Women’s Empowerment and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialization.

As a Marine Mother her interest in working with VYP is preceded by decades of interaction with the veteran population, and their families at a deep, personal level, and the VYP Mindful Resilience Training Program, 2018.

She is happy to be a volunteer for VYP and grateful to be part of the Mindful Resilience Teacher Training Team .
