Jaime is a U.S. Navy veteran and does volunteer work with Veteran service organizations. Jaime
spent 32 years on active duty in the field of electronic warfare and intelligence and included
deployments with surface, subsurface, and aviation forces as well as numerous headquarters
assignments. He has postgraduate degrees in Organizational Administration and Transformational
Leadership and from the Naval War College. Jaime has served on the board of a nonprofit Veteran
organization and on boards of homeowner associations. He has been involved with Veterans Yoga
Project since 2017 in the Pacific Northwest Region and since 2020 in the Southern California Region
serving as an area manager and Ambassador. Jaime holds a RYT-200 certification and is a member
of the VYP Teacher Alliance. He is currently engaged in teaching and expanding the scope of VYP
activity in the San Diego area. He is the father of one daughter, currently in her twenty-second year
of active duty in the U.S. Navy.
