Kristine serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Veteran’s Yoga Project. She is a 200 hour RYT for adults and children. She teaches adult yoga and meditation classes, has led workshops on mindfulness, taught children and family classes, and has presented at the Sedona Yoga Festival on the benefits of yoga and meditation. She has worked with the U.S. Army for 13 years and served as a Civil Affairs soldier with deployments to Iraq and Kosovo. She has also served as a cultural advisor to the Army in Northern Iraq and as a Trainer at Ft. Leavenworth preparing teams for Iraq and Afghanistan. Kristine later became an instructor for USAID/DAI and traveled throughout Afghanistan training Afghans, U.S. and NATO forces on a program management tool. Kristine went onto conduct research at the United States Military Academy, West Point. While at West Point, Kristine taught yoga for the Cadet Yoga Club. She currently works at the University of Northern Colorado Alumni Association in Greeley, CO and teaches a weekly on-line yoga class through the Fargo, ND VA. Kristine holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and Bachelors in Mass Communications from North Dakota State University.
