Sam’s professional history spans in-person and digital events, marketing, customer and user experience.
Sam’s digital accounts have included major brands, among them eBay and Universal Studios. Combining digital aptitude with production management she focused on project management, overseeing front and back-end builds and implementation of large CMS and bespoke data-driven marketing projects, focusing on CX, acquisition, retention, and attribution.
Sam’s passion is integrating data-driven digital campaigns and customer outreach with live events. Sam has worked with major brands, bands, festivals, and production companies in this area, including BBC, Live Nation, The Royal Opera House (London), The National Theatre (London), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and Paris Fashion Week, among others.
Sam has served on multiple military nonprofit boards, as Advisory Board Chairperson for the Imagination Library of Montgomery County (TN), and yoga teacher/program development for the “Healthy Kids, Healthy Families” initiative at the Fort Campbell USO, as well as a marketing and data advisor for various nonprofits and lobbying groups.
Sam is passionate about working with active-duty military and their families, as well as victims/survivors of domestic violence and other communities at high risk for PTS(D).
Sam’s alma maters include King’s College London, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts London (Theatre & Events Production & Management), The College of Law London (now ULaw, LPC), and Sheridan College in ON Canada (Fine Arts, Economics).
Sam is a certified registered Vinyasa yoga teacher, experienced vipassanā meditation and yogic philosophy teacher, and a graduate of Veterans Yoga Project Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery Training and Mindful Resilience for Compassion Fatigue. She is a contributing instructor for VYP’s Mindful Resilience 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. Sam has additional training in Iyengar Yoga, Advanced Anatomy & Adjusting, Adaptive Yoga Level I & II (Mind Body Solutions), LYB Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injury Level I (LoveYourBrain), and Trauma-Informed Yoga for Children and Youth.
Sam is grateful for the opportunity to combine all her passions and talents by serving as the Chief Customer Officer of Veterans Yoga Project, taking the helm of the marketing, PR, and UX departments, and overseeing the shift towards VYP’s people-first objectives and data-driven empathy.
