Terence A. Leach
U.S. Marine Corps Reserve
In honor of Lt. Colonel Terence A. Leach, USMCR, for his years of dedicated service to our country and his fellow Marines.
Terence began his Marine Corps career in 2007, earning his pilot wings and serving as a CH-53 helicopter pilot during a combat deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in 2011. He went on to complete two additional deployments, serving as a Forward Air Controller with 2d Battalion 3d Marines and later as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor pilot in support of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
After leaving active duty in 2017, Terence continued his commitment to service as a member of the Marine Corps Reserves. He currently serves as a Current Operations Officer at Marine Forces Pacific in Hawaii.
His dedication, courage, and continued commitment to his fellow service members have been a profound inspiration to me. His example is one of the reasons I was drawn to teaching Veterans and became involved with Veterans Yoga Project. Through his service, he helped me better understand the importance of supporting those who have served and inspired me to find my own way to serve the Veteran community.
I am deeply proud to honor my son Terence and grateful for his service, sacrifice, and enduring commitment to our country.
